A BBQ Feast

Last night, we made a delicious BBQ dinner!

Since we’re going to Florida for Christmas, the girlfriend and I decided to exchange gifts early instead of lugging everything on the plane. Traveling is such a hassle these days, it just seemed easier this way. Plus, it was an opportunity to celebrate as just the two of us.

At first, we were going to make a traditional turkey dinner, but I suggested we do something out of the ordinary. Who knows, maybe this will be a new tradition? You can’t argue with BBQ right?

The menu included…

Garlic Fries and Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Arugula Salad and Caramelized Onions

It was a great meal!

I knew this because there was absolutely no leftovers ;)

What are your Christmas traditions?

I think that goes down as one of our best home meals. You did good ;) And I give myself props for that badass salad and moral support lol. Definitely has to be a tradition!

Looks delicious! I haven’t had brussel sprouts in so long…the boyfriend’s not a fan, to say the least.

BBQ for Christmas? Why not! I think it’s sweet that you guys celebrated together and started your own tradition – there’s always time for turkey when you’re with the fam.

Yum! This looks delicious. Brussel sprouts (as much as I hate them raw) are amazing when roasted!

I love brussels sprouts. I brought them to a family function once and no one would touch them…
