My day started with a CHARGE!
Last week, I was sent some samples of Chia Charger to try. Specifically, they sent Buffalo Dirt and Manhattan Mud Chia Nut Butters.
“We are committed to being the leader who introduces the benefits of the chia seeds into your diet by making great-tasting and healthy foods for you and your family.”
Earlier this year, I found out about chia seeds and their health benefits by reading other blogs. I’ve been a chia seed monster ever since!
Chia seeds are high in fiber, reduce blood pressure, help in weight loss, increases fullness, aid in hydration, and are the richest plant source of Omega-3’s.
Yep, they’re definitely considered a superfood in my book!
My pre-run snack this morning was a smear of Chia Charger on sprouted wheat bread.
The peanut butter itself was very smooth, but the chia seeds added a slight chunkiness that I really liked. It really added a satisfying crunch into each bite!
Oh man, it was good. Like really good.
I like (and will purchase in the future) Chia Charger because:
- It tastes delicious
- It’s good for me
- A portion of each purchase goes to a specific charity
Have you tried Chia Charger?
*Chia Charger provided me with a free sample of this product to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product.*

That looks so good on the toast. I need to get back into eating chia seeds again. Awesome that part of the proceeds go to charity too!

I’m actually a pretty boring nut butter eater. 75% of the time, I eat generic Kroger or Publix brand natural PB.

Never tried it but I love trying new nut butters! Looks yummmmmy.
I saw Chia Charger pop up on another blog too – it sounds amazing. Easpeically their Boulder Heat flavor. I’d make many a Thai peanut sauce with that stuff.
I’m all about the chia lately. You should try the Sweet Potato Chia Pudding I posted Friday! It was a great pre-workout breakfast… and you could mix in some Chia Charger rather than the tahini.
Oh my gosh that stuff looks awesome! Not that I can’t simply put chia seeds in my PB but it’s cool a product like that exists. Chia is a staple for sure!

That looks so good! I’ve actually yet to try chia seeds. I’m kind of a texture person so I’m always afraid that they will freak me out haha

Ok…I think I’m going to have to give these seeds a try. I’ve been reading about them on blogs for what feels like forever now! Question – do you know how they help with weight loss?
