Hello everyone! Who had a fun Thanksgiving?
Like I mentioned last week, I spent the holiday weekend in Florida with my family plus the girlfriend. She like a member of the family though.
It was a fun trip!
It was busy, but there was plenty of down time thrown in the mix. I don’t think I can even count how many naps were taken on that couch…
The weather was perfect!
On Thursday, we had a seafood lunch on the beach. Just look at that background!
My dad was in charge of the carving the turkey. My mom purchased one from a vendor at the local farmers market. Apparently we had the ability to watch it being raised online. Super neat!
We had dinner together in the dining room, which is a family tradition on Thanksgiving.
We went to see the movie Lincoln after dinner, but I was zonked out 10 minutes into the movie. Note to self: see something with some action after eating a turkey dinner.

On Saturday, I took a trip back to Tuscaloosa with my dad to go to the Iron Bowl.
It was a blow out (49-0), but we had a blast! We drove up on Saturday morning for the game, then drive back later that night. It was certainly an adventure, especially when out GPS took us through some neighborhoods that aren’t meant to be seen at night.
Not bad for a road trip dinner!
Whew! What a weekend!

Looks like you had an awesome Thanksgiving. I can certainly think of no better way to spend it than at the beach!!
Best part of my weekend…putting up my Christmas tree and the nap I took yesterday. I am pretty easy to please.

Still LOLing at the nap photo. That couch was in constant use over the weekend haha. And so neat to go back and see Tuscaloosa as an Alumni… worth the ghetto drive

I couldn’t believe that blow out game! The only think I can take solace in for my team (Tech) is that we at least put a few point on the board against UGA.

Sounds like an awesome weekend! And I couldn’t help but laugh at your comment about the movie… I’m not even sure that an action flick would keep me awake after a turkey dinner.
