This comment really made me smile
I really like blogging, but sometimes I feel like I just don’t fit in. I don’t have any cool recipes, nor do I have a new workout to post every day. To make matters worse, I’ve never been to crossfit and I wouldn’t last one meal on the Paleo diet. Joking. Sort of…
You know what? I’m totally OK with that.
I’ve come to the realization that I just don’t follow the blog trends. If you want to read about an ordinary person, you’ve come to the right place!
Yesterday was quite the adventure.
I know I just bought a new car earlier this year, but I fell in love with the 2013 model when I had one as a loaner while mine was at the dealer to have a few things fixed. I test drove it again a few days later because I like it that much. I kept researching the car and finally decided to just go for it.
I was on the fence about it for a few weeks, but everyone kept tell me “do what makes you happy.”
So I did.
I also found out that I have a 781 credit score. Holla.
It was a 4 hour process and my companion started to get hungry. Trust me, she can get a little testy when she goes too long without food.
I made the salesman buy her peanuts to tide her over until lunch.
He said that he keeps dollar bills in his wallet just for this situation, which I think is pretty smart. If someone leaves to go and get food, they might not come back.
Life tip: Don’t let your girlfriend get too hungry.
The bad news is that I don’t actually have the car yet. It’s currently on a truck en route to the dealer and should be here tomorrow or Tuesday!
It’s was basically impossible to find the model/color that I wanted. I had to go talk to about five or six different dealers! Most of them told me that people were buying the cars before they were even on the lot.
It will look like this:
Woo hoo! I’m excited!
I’ll post pictures when it comes it
So who’s doing anything fun for Thanksgiving?
I’ll be Florida bound in a few days. Mom and dad have a beach house there and we decided to have Thanksgiving there. It will be a short trip (Thursday-Sunday), but it should be fun!
