This week, we have the wild and crazy Megmo!
Before you venture over to her blog, I must warn you…
She can be a little crazy.
On the other hand, she is totally awesome and down to earth! It’s a pleasure to have her as my featured blogger this week!
What is the name of your blog and how does it describe you?
I’m so awful at describing myself – so you’ll have to go take a look for yourself! I’m passionate about a lot of things – health, fitness, beauty, hot sauce, hot men, dancing and just loving and living my life as best as I can – I like to think my blog does a good job of putting those things (and more) in a nutshell. Plus a few corny jokes.
Do you add oil to your hummus? Does it make it creamier?
Of course, makes me creamier too. Oops, did I just say that?
How long have you been blogging?
Almost 3 years now! Wow, I cannot believe it’s been that long…
How many hours a day do you devote to blogging?
Between blogging and blog-reading, probably an hour or so on the day! Some days unfortunately only a few minutes though.
What helped influence your decision to start blogging and the subjects you blog about?
I read blogs to find recipes and learned so much about them and knew I loved to write, so I started my own. I love being a part of a community with people who share my interests. The first few blogs I read were Kath Eats, Carrots ‘n Cake, Oh She Glows and Eat Live Run (the usual suspects!)
As a blogger, what mistakes have you made and what did you learn from them?
I’ve definitely learned to re-read my posts and make sure everything is spelled correctly. I’m a huge stickler for grammar and spelling, so it annoys me even more when I publish a post with spelling errors I’ve made myself – d’oh! I’ve also learned to censor myself a little bit more – the world is a creepy place if you catch my drift.
What is the most valuable thing that you have gotten out of your blog?
Friends, absolutely.
If you could describe your blog in one word, what would it be?
Shenanigans.
Where do you see your blog in 6 months? 1 year?
Still hangin’! Hopefully with more features, guest posts and love! I’d like to develop my Facebook page and make it more interactive as well – I’d love to know what exactly people want to read!
Has it been worth it?
Nope. JUST KIDDING! Yes, without a doubt!
Is there anything else you want us to know?
Matt’s pretty awesome and I just want to thank him for featuring me! Also – go like me on Facebook and follow me on twitter and let me know what you wanna see the most on my blog! Thanks for reading, folks!

Awesome guest post Megan! Haha, I’m with you on the grammar… I’ve gone back and edited posts like 5 times for the littlest things I’ll catch. Lesson learned to proofread.
