Full Of R & R

by Matt on June 24, 2012

This was definitely the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a LONG time. I took a grand total of two naps. They were much needed.

I kicked off my Friday night with a burger on the grill.

Burger

It had felt like forever since I fired up the grill to make a good ol’ fashioned burger, so that was the primary task on my agenda. It definitely did not disappoint! I was in bed by 10 PM and slept like a rock.

The good food continued on Saturday when I had lunch with my dad. Since he was in the area doing errands, it only made sense to get Whole Foods for lunch.

Whole Foods

Wise words from my dad:

“Wow, that’s a big salad.”

I know. It’s just the way I like it.

Car Wash

My adventures continued with a trip to the car wash. I basically live here now. Please tell me I’m not the only one obsessed with keeping my car cleaned!

Refreshments were had along the way…

Kombucha

And now it’s Sunday night. I’m dreading work tomorrow. This weekend was WAY too short.

Ugh, no kidding. How does the weekend go by so fast? At least there’s a holiday coming up.

My Dad always comments on how huge my Whole Foods salads are too! (he only ever sees them when I bring them home for lunch breaks…he won’s set foot in “that overpriced store full of nasty food for health-freaks” haha. Gotta love that generation. Yours looks legit! I like your style :)
