Happy Sunday everyone!
It’s been a busy weekend for sure.Yesterday, I spent majority of the day helping my friend Heather move into her new place the DFW area since she is transferring to UNT. It reminded me how much of a pain it is to move!
Please forgive the “I just moved a couch up three flights of stairs” hair.
Now, moving on! I saw this survey on Clare’s blog today that I thought looked fun. Here we go!
1.Run/workout in the heat and humidity or freezing temps and snow?
Hmm… I’d probably rather run in the heat since I’m used to it. Raised in Texas!
2. Have washboard abs or flat abs?
I guess flat? Washboard abs definitely DO NOT run in my family.
3. Dr. Oz or The Doctors?
I don’t watch either. Sorry!
4. Cardio or strength?
Well since I run every day…
You can figure that one out.
5. Cravings: Protein or carbs?
Carbs, carbs, carbs. And cheese. But I guess that’s more of a protein.

6. Jillian Michaels or Bob Harper?
I’m going to have to go with neither since I don’t know much about them. I mean, I know who they are, but that’s about it. I think they were on that show The Biggest Loser but I thought it was the stupidest show to ever air on TV.
7. Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream?
Ice cream, all the way. I am probably the only blogger out there that doesn’t like frozen yogurt. If I want dessert, I get dessert. I don’t go half way.
8. To train: Upper body or Lower body?
Probably lower body for running. It will always be my favorite form of exercise!
9. Protein powder or food with protein?
Although I love my beloved Sunwarrior protein powder, I definitely prefer food with protein. Eggs, grass-fed beef, peanut butter, Salmon, and Greek yogurt are my favorites!

10. Lunges or squats?
Both are killer, but I’d have to go with squats.
11. Sweet or salty?
Salty > sweet. I’ve never really had a sweet tooth. I’d much rather have something greasy.
12. Workout attire: cute or comfy?
I’m going to have to go with comfortable since I don’t aim to look “cute.”
13. Body Pump or Heavy lifting?
I’ve never been to body pump and I’m not really a power lifter.
14. Yoga or Pilates?
Neither.
15. Nike or Adidas?
I can’t stand Nike running shoes (although I do like their tennis shoes), but I love their apparel and I buy it quite often. On the other hand, I wear Adidas tennis shoes. I’ll go with Nike though.

16. Running on the treadmill or outdoors?
Umm… Is this even a question? Definitely outdoors.
17. Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s?
LOL. Whole Foods.

18. Summer or Winter Olympics?
Definitely summer. My favorite events to watch are mens tennis and the marathon. DUH.
19. Exercises classes or Exercise videos?
Probably exercise classes. 5:30 AM gets me out of bed in the morning!
20. Steamed veggies or roasted veggies?
Roasted, hands down. I can’t actually tell you the last time that I made steamed veggies. They are just so boring and flavorless.

You must be thriving in that Texas heat right now! I am such a whimp when it comes to humidity – it was 75 with 90% humidity at 6 a.m. this morning and I just could not go run in that. By the way, do you cross train at all? I just ask because I’m trying to improve my running and I heard its a really great way to do that.

If either a Whole Foods or a Trader Joes wanted to locate anywhere near me (the closest WF is about 1 1/2 hours away) I’d be happy.

Totally with ya on the heat! I LOVE it! I am all about the ice cream too.. coconut is my fav. I can’t have the real stuff… milk allergy. Boo.

I agree Nike clothing is better but my favorite tennis shoes are definitely the Adidas barricade series.
Roasted vegetables are something that I am new to and OMG are they amazing! I am currently on an eggplant and beet kick:-)
I have to agree with going to classes as well. I plan to get up at 4 and do a video ALL the time but it never ever works out that way.
Running is the best form of exercise.

I TOTALLY prefer roasted veggies over steamed. Is that even a question??

such survey should be done to promote the health and fitness among the people.
I would like to eat simple raw foods instead of roasted foods.
