My Christmas List

by Matt on December 4, 2012

Wow it’s December. Where is the time going?

This month has really snuck up on me! I’m not quite in the Christmas spirit yet, but I will be soon enough. I don’t really get into “holiday mode” until mid-December.

I honestly don’t really have much of a Christmas list this year. If I want something, I usually just buy it myself. I know my mom loves to hunt around and find cool things for me and my sister, so I usually just give one or two hints and let her surprise me with the rest.

Honestly, I’m just happy with some extra money for Christmas too. It used to be all about getting gifts, but as I’ve grown, I’ve realized that Christmas is all about spending time with the people that mean the most to you.

The top things on my Christmas list are:

1. Money

2. Genesis wing badges for my car

3. Whole Foods gift card

I basically live there :)

4. Another tennis racquet (the same one i currently use), which is on sale for $100 off! Might just buy on for myself…

This is a killer deal! I’ve been in the market for another racquet for quite awhile. It’s always good to have a backup in case I break a string and have to wait for it to be restrung.

5. Gift card for new clothes (something that I must pick out for myself)

6. Apple TV

What’s on your Christmas list this year?

I second the Whole Foods gift card. Great idea–I could always use some help when I grocery shop there! Otherwise, I’m hoping my sisters hook me up with a few new wardrobe items. They have a much better sense of style than I do and I hate shopping for new clothes (unless they are workout clothes). :)

I brought home an Apple TV last week and got yelled at by my husband, who was planning on getting it for me for Christmas. Woops!

I have the hardest time coming up with Christmas lists for the same reason – when I need something, I usually just go out and buy it. This year I’ve been making more of an effort to put off buying myself stuff this close to Christmas, but still… the only thing I’ve managed to put on my list so far are brown riding-style boots…

Perfume, lotions, pj’s, K-Cup holder….I am easy peasy. My husband and I don’t really buy for one another though. We let the kids pick out the gifts for us so we try to make them cost appropriate.

I agree with you on Whole Foods! I used to work there and wish like crazy I still had the discount! :-/

I want P90X2 for Christmas. I have done P90X a couple of times and I’m ready for new workouts.

This is super lame, but I really want a garbage disposal. And a Whole Food gift certificate.

Haha a Whole Foods giftcard! I would so put that on my list if only there was one in Tuscaloosa (I can’t afford gas to Bham every week lol). I’ll be living in a townhouse down town for the remaining years of school so I’ll be asking for Williams Sonoma gift cards. :D

Good idea with the Whole Foods gift card! That and a Trader Joe’s one will be on my list as well :)
