In 6 days, I’m moving!
Luckily, I think this is going to be a fairly simple move. I’m only moving about three miles down the road to a different complex, so it will only be one day of hell. Moving sucks, no matter how far you’re going!
I finally started packing today. I’m basically just throwing most of my stuff in boxes and the rest will go in the back of the Uhaul. Simple enough.
Other than packing, I’ve just been up to the same old same old, but I do have a few new fun things to report!
New Grill
My old grill was finally nearing the end of it’s life. Since I’m basically upgrading everything right now (new apartment, new computer…), I figured it was time for a new one.
New Bike Tires
Since I had some free time this morning, I finally got around to changing both of the tires on my bike. The only thing that’s left is a tune-up, but I have a Groupon for that!
Delicious Food
That’s a give right?
New Tennis Buddy
I ended up playing with Clare for an hour and a half today!
I don’t have many friends that play tennis, so it’s nice to have a buddy to play with when I’m not at drills or a private lessons. We are so entering a doubles tournament.
Dallas Farmers Market
I went to the Dallas Farmers Market yesterday morning and it was a blast! It was my first time to go on a Saturday morning and it was hoppin’!
I walked away with way too much stuff, but what can ya do?
Unfortunately, someone decided to rear end my car on the way home. They also thought it would be cool to speed off and flee the scene.
Yep, not happy about that one. Not happy one bit.
And I think it’s dinner time. Time for something grilled!

This past Saturday was the opening day for my local farmers’ market, and it was SO much fun. I love that I came home with a big bag full of fresh, local produce!
I’m moving next Monday and I am not looking forward to it! Packing and unpacking, oh joy. Wow, I’d be PISSED about my car!! Sorry that happened.

those roasted veggies look SO good! i would roast some for dinner tonight, but it’s so freakin hot that i think a bowl of cereal, fresh fruit, and milk is in order

I agree, packing & moving are total pains. BUT it’ll be worth it for a sweet new apartment! And new bike tires are always a win, I’m going to need to change my back tire soon after a winter on the trainer hah. that burger looks incredible too btw!

Argh, moving sucks. We moved across the country and I literally wrapped bubble wrap with bubble wrap. Good luck! At least its not too far! Oh and I’ve never walked away from the Farmer’s Market without too much food!

That meal looks to die for! Sure your new grill will produce many more like that. I love a new grill, when we got one at our house a couple years back (we sprung for a Weber grill) it made all the difference!
That’s so cool that you’re playing tennis with Clare. And walking away from the farmer’s market with tons of stuff is a given, at least you’re supporting a lot of people, right? Lame about the rear-ending though. People are jerks!
