After 10 hours of moving hell yesterday, I’m finally settled in my new place!
Before we get to that, let’s rewind a little bit. Because she is totally awesome, my girlfriend flew in for the weekend to help me move. Hey, an extra pair of hands never hurts right?
Actually, it was our one year anniversary, so I think a trip was necessary.
We started off the trip with fried bleu cheese balls. Totally delicious and by far the best part of the meal.
Heather may or may not kill me for posting this picture…
The move started bright and early on Saturday morning. We were scheduled to pick up the up the UHaul at 7 AM, so my alarm was set way too early for a Saturday.
I’m not going to lie. The move was brutal. Lugging my couch and the washer and dryer up to the second floor was a chore.
My apartment is still a little messy, but I plan on organizing things tonight. Right now, I’m taking a few hours to decompress before my tennis lesson.
I’m a complete CLEAN FREAK (thanks mom!), so this is messy for me. Don’t judge.

Patio (with the new grill!)

After that, it was time for dinner!
I made Heather and I a veggie frittata with spinach, tomato, and goat gouda. Delicious.
We were going to make omelets, but this sounded much more appetizing for some reason.
Breakfast was Cinnamon Raisin French Toast. Oh yes.
And now I shall continue with my Sunday night. Tennis and SLEEP are on the agenda!
