Thursday Thoughts

by Matt on August 23, 2012

1. I wish it was Friday

This week has been incredibly long, but it hasn’t really felt that busy. Normally when I have a lot to do, the week flies by and Friday is here before I know it. Unfortunately, this week isn’t the case. It’s been dragging!

2. I’m OBSESSED with Pink Pearl Apples

These are really fun to eat! They also taste good.

The only downside is that when I take my first bite, apple juice goes everywhere. The juice is pink and it stained my pants today. I had some explaining to do when I came back from lunch.

3. I closed my first deal at my new job

I’ve been working at my new job for about three weeks now, but today was the first time that I’ve actually “closed” a project that I’ve been working on. It felt good to get a “great job Matt” from several different people. There is more greatness to come.

4. I love my panini machine

I used to have the luxury of coming for lunch, but those days are long gone. Panini’s for dinner have been added to the rotation! Mmm…

Can you think of anything better than bread and melted cheese?

I think not.

5. I need to find a new gym

My rate was switched from $40 per month to $10 per week. I called to complain and they claimed that it was the same thing. Umm, no it’s not. There are 52 weeks in a year. Essentially I am paying for an extra 4 weeks.

I have a fun weekend planned! Anyone else?

No big weekend plans for me. What are you doing that is going to be so much fun?

Those apples sound so cool! I’ve never heard of them before, but I’l definitely be keeping an eye out for them at the grocery store from now on. Also, why do the best foods always seem to be the messiest? It never fails.
